I volunteered at a Humane Society once in the “cat socialization” room. I basically sat in a room with a bunch of crazy-pats half-feral alley cats to help them get acclimated to the presence of humans. It was pretty weird to sit there with all these eyes peering out at me from under every place that a cat could possibly get under.

Oh god, I know. Where does one even get access to a badger and an otter? And how do I get in on that action?

That’s exactly what I was wondering, FJ.

So adorable. It makes me want to find a wildlife rescue center and volunteer.
Exept I’d probably be allergic to half of the animals.

I just did my volunteer orientation for the local humane society. Badger-otter wrestling in my future? I think so!
